I seem happy!! 🤓
No, it’s just I’m on my favourite orbit for inscribing this mystic post on my paw companions.
Of all animals, dogs seem to have a special influence on the lives of their owners. Whether it’s night time cuddles after a tough day or playing fetch for hours in the sun, even a glance at your pup instantly boosts your mood.
Dogs are one of the most affectionate and loyal creatures on earth. This dog blog page can give you so much from your daily dose of cuteness, to valuable information on how to care for one.✌
So just stay tuned to this and learn more.😊😊
Guys! Choosing this topic has actually created havoc in my mind as it’s a very expansive topic to communicate on. Considering it my very first post on pet life, I am concentrating just on my favourite breed. And why a family should inhabit one of these.
YES!! YOU LOOK AT THAT BALL OF FUR AND IN SILENCE, PRAY THAT IT STAYS IN THAT SIZE FOREVER😍
They are the most adorable and furry cute babies I have ever seen. Due to their super sweet personalities, serious smarts, and adorable toothy grins they are hugely popular breed everywhere.
Golden Retriever litters consist of usually 1-14 pups, with 7-8 as the average.
Many fans of the breed particularly(just as me) love their cute characteristics as puppies. But, generally receive them when they are already 8 weeks of age.
They are not just golden!
Even though they’re called golden retrievers, not all goldens have a yellow-gold coat. They can range from a very light, snowy white, to a yellow-gold, to a dark, coppery red.
No matter what’s the colour is, the most important thing to keep in mind is never to cut their hair. Doing so can put them in high risk of skin cancer and other health issues.
Their fur consists of two coats – long, silky waterproof outer coat and warming undercoat which acts as an insulator in all weather.
They can go into Overdrive!
Golden Retriever are the working dogs and are incredibly fast learners. They work as a therapy dog for many owners. They can bring a lot of comforts and joy to the people who were dealing with some traumatized situations.
They are known for performing search and rescues to help those in need.
They are hailed as superheroes!
Brutis was a 7-year-old golden retriever that valiantly saved a young child from a venomous coral snake as it was slithering dangerously close to him. He quickly snatched up the snake and went away before the snake could get to the boy. As a result, Brutis suffered a near-deadly bite from the snake but eventually made a full recovery. Venomous Coral snakes are known for being one of the most poisonous snakes in North America, and it could have been fatal had it bit the child. Luckily, Brutis did not hesitate for a second longer and risked himself anyways.
His heroics did not go unnoticed, and he was soon flown to Los Angeles to receive the National Hero Dog award.
Golden retrievers are fiercely loyal to their families, so it’s no surprise that there are countless stories of golden protecting their people from dangerous situations.
They are a super foodie!
Just eat a meal near one and you will come to realize their love for food. Their love for food sometimes causes health problems like obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. So it’s important to feed your golden the right amount of food for their weight, age and activity level. And take it easy on the treats!
With love for food, they also carry non-food items in their mouth. So, better to keep a check on your shoes, sticks and remote controls😄.
They are so damn health conscious!💪
They are the members of the sporting group and need lots of exercise and that too, every single day. Golden retrievers love a good swim session but would be just as happy with long walks, games of fetch, or even agility games.
Adjust your timings according to their age and workout capacity.
If you thinking it as a hectic procedure to work on, trust me you will thank me for this tip afterwards😄.
Now, every creature has some good or bad thing in them. Just like our other family members, Golden Retriever does have some negative yet adoring patterns to deal with.
They are super hair shed breed!
Goldens shed hair – little throughout the year but still, a couple of times a year they do a “general change”!
If you have trouble accepting that part of Golden’s hair will also be part of your fiber diet (or if you have a habit of dressing in black) – this is not the right breed for you!😁
If you are cleaning Maniac!
Dirty or wet paws, muzzle marks on a window in your house and in your car, (and did I mention the hairs already?!)… Anyway, if you don’t relax and enjoy yourself, you and your dog will be destined for an eternal conflict!😉
Everything in the right place issues!
Goldens have RETRIEVER as their surname and comes from Latin which means-to put everything in his mouth and get it!
The RETRIEVER instinct should really be a part of all Goldens. So,if you don’t want to get home and your dog comes with everything messed up around and extremely happy wagging his tail and wanting to play with you, it might be better to keep looking for another breed ideal for your temperament!
If you are looking for a guard dog!
Did I mention that Goldens just love everyone and everything?
They would probably end up helping the thieves who are entering your home. They would certainly even help them load the silver (they are retrievers, remember?)🤓. If you are looking for protection, it will not be of good quality!
