Nobody sees anybody truly but all through the flaws of their own egos. That is the way we all see, each other in life. Vanity, fear, desire, and competition- that’s how it is in all living relationships except when there is that rare case of two people who love intensely enough to burn through all those layers of opacity and see each other’s naked hearts.-Thoughts☺
After reaching a particular phase of life, I’m getting deeper into my soul’s healing process. I’m discovering thousands of ways to deal with my day to day dilemmas, may it be internal or external. External healing is comparatively much easier and faster than the internal one. Am I sounding a bit weird here?
As always, I have my own life proven instances to keep my words on a positive standpoint. In most of the cases, external healing somehow relate itself to internal ones. If you are facing recurring rejections, it gradually connects you to a demotivating internal outbreak. When you start taking those rejections in a positive manner internally, it becomes the best way to improve your personal and physical appearance externally. To deal with this specific rejection issue you can check out my blog – Rejection is Redirection: Eliminating the fear!
Similarly, a lot of internal issues are breathing to the fullest, just because we allow them to thrive. Yes, I’m directly indicating the major point of dissatisfaction and that is none other than ’our own selves’. We are most likely our own biggest obstacle. For instance, try to give a valuable suggestion to two different people, one may try to extract the best out of it and the other can certainly take it otherwise and may fall on his/her face. So, we are the sole reason for our ups and downs. Here, I’m focusing on a major reason for internal discomforts and that’s our own EGO.
The ego judges. When ego confined your mind you start judging others from your point of view. When you try to judge someone, you are certainly judging yourself. I’ve found it very important to separate the voices of the soul from the voices of the ego. Your soul is limitless. It is pure light with endless potential, while the ego will come up with all the reasons why you can’t, it will try to keep you from changing, and it will keep you stuck if you let it.
It can literally keep you in a prison of your own judging mind!
CAN WE KILL OUR EGO?
Since childhood, I’m dealing with this issue, with all my grace of course🤓! Healing ego is a gradual process. Sometimes we overcome it after a few bad episodes and sometimes we keep it on the top, feeling everything else worthless. Ego death is not a finish line though – ego is a part of us and cannot disappear entirely. It’s more like letting go and reaching beyond. It is overcoming, exceeding – transcendence. So, let’s unfurl some of the great points to deal and suppress this recurring mental stress.
HOW TO DEAL WITH EGO?
Start a new life!
How can a person start a new life all over again just to deal with self-ego? No, not the whole life, just design a pause button to the egocentric life and try to see others with a look of compassion for what they are dealing with. This will gradually develop patience within you. Reaching beyond ego will make your relationship with yourself and others so much better, for you won’t take anything personally.
Try to understand your past behaviours, what made it wrong, why the situation looked so much more ugly than you have ever imagined. Try to learn from it, take it as a lesson, this will definitely change your world drastically. This way we start living our life without ego controlling it.
Use the EGO to lead a better life!
Ego is not always the enemy. If we think deeply, we can find that this ego can also play a better role in your life. If you want to grow, keep using ego to deal with the world and life, like using the head to get to where your soul wants to go. When you use ego to develop a stronger you, it’s quite empowering. It gives you the state of mind to undertake more courageous, daring and audacious things. And gives you greater belief that you can accomplish them. But, the only thing to keep in mind is that, not let yourself merge into it.
Try to enjoy silent moments with yourself!
Imagine the moments when you are constantly dealing with some issue, mentally and emotionally. Your mind and heart dragging you to the exact opposite paths. That’s the time to sit quietly and bestowing self a moment. Self-time brings your inner self back to its position. You start recognizing what you truly are. It builds time to arrange your self in a positive manner and gradually you will enjoy the art of giving without expecting from others.
Give yourself some time to think about self because sometimes in silence you can find the answers that the voice never can.
Let the things go and start forgiving others!
Truly, it’s not that easy to letting things go and forgiving someone for a bad deed. But, it’s worst to keep scratching your head every single moment and thinking why it’s always me? You will not get the answer, but you will surely receive a lot of dissatisfaction and mental struggles like- inferiority complex, failures, people-pleasing syndromes and a lot more.
Basically, forgiving others is to let them get out of your mind. Let the bad things stop haunting you, crush them with your positivity. Forgiveness will open the windows to your soul, and remove the negativity to allow room for new happiness. It’s hard, but we can do it😄.
Getting over your ego is not that easy, but our incremental attempts can assist us in overcoming this issue. I remember I have fallen a lot dealing with this particular dilemma. After reaching a particular level of maturity, it’s time to work on it actively. I want you guys to join me on this voyage to become more productive and positive in both the aspects of our existence, internal and external.
Share your views on EGO and how you overcome it, I shall be glad to learn more!☺
