Hey guys!!

So another month passed with lots of ups and downs in both phases of existence – in and out, lol 😄. Starting from environmental modifications to familiar transformations, everything took a big halt to move on. A lot of possibilities and negative senses strike our mind. Still, we come up with a brighter side of life.
After a long self- quarantine phase, we gradually started enduring with the surroundings and started managing our civic life again, of course with a lot more precautions and social distancing.

So, the point is what I did to make my June more productive and efficient. Lol, nothing much but I’m self-satisfied to create a more positive sense of being. And that’s what actually matters. Do something which makes you happy. Happiness really isn’t a destination, but a journey that you’re experiencing every single day — embracing the negative and the positive.

READ A BOOK!!

Reading books constantly made my day much simpler and easy to drive myself towards positivity. Helped me soothing those blunder build ups in my mind😂. Here’s my June read and review.👇

YOU SAY IT FIRST – BY KATIE COTUGNO

You say it first : As a coming of age story, I give this 4 stars, as a romance I give it 3 stars. I definitely enjoyed it and I appreciate the realistic nature of how a teenager would handle this situation, that being said the relationship seemed rather toxic and uneven, a good deal of the time. This book has also cured me of ever uttering the phrase ‘can I ask you a question?’ ever again, it’s used so many times throughout the novel it made my head spin😄.

“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers.”

GARDENING: PUREST HUMAN PLEASURE!!

Truly I worked on it a lot!! Absolutely, slammed myself with those ‘Hand In Mud’ videos, did lots of repotting for my biggies, worked on homemade organic fertilizers, broke my heart by performing lots of pruning sessions😞, started growing veggies on my terrace and finally, witnessed lots of greenery around me. A garden requires patient labour and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfil good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them. I always feel that immense pleasure when my plants grow and look happy☺! For more information about indoor gardening you can check my post on Indoor plants☺.

“The lesson I have thoroughly learnt, and wish to pass on to others, is to know the enduring happiness that the love of a garden gives. ”

BINGE ON NETFLIX!!

That’s obvious, spending time sitting in front of that idiot box and declining self productiveness is not worthy enough. But trust me, sometimes living idle and deserted gives your mind a boost to work more creatively. So, here I shortly reviewed my June watch.

Bulbbul (2020)– Indian horror about a man coming home and finding an abandoned bride and lots of unexplained deaths. Its not a scary horror flick, its not made to scare you, it instead makes you deeply think the ghost that exists inside the society. Definitely a good watch!!

Extraction (2020)– The action sequences are gorgeous, applying a blend of gun-fu and merle fights that give the movie a realistic feel. Hemsworth plays his role well and his portrayal of the character allows the audience to not only understand him as a character but also the boy who he must save and his relationships with his co-workers. Of course, the major reason behind watching this movie was- Chris Hemsworth☺.

The Night Clerk (2020) – Michael Cristofer writes and directs this crime drama starring Ana de Armas and Tye Sheridan about a hotel clerk who is the subject of a murder investigation.

PHOTOGRAPHY: MY PAUSE BUTTON FOR LIFE!!

Finally, after a long lockdown isolation, I convened myself to leave for a Photography session. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. Working on my passion to capture everything beautiful, I clicked these nature’s beauty.

“It’s not enough to just own a camera. Everyone owns a camera. To be a photographer, you must understand, appreciate, and harness the power you hold!”

So, that’s my encouraging June done tasks. I felt entirely dazzled with lot of positive energy to start my current month. Hope these ideas generate a better scheduling pattern in everyone’s life.

Happy weekend friends!!
