My Beliefs: Replication of ‘The Enlightened One’

“You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”

Buddha

Everyone wants to stay happy and delighted in one or the other way. We keep on moving in the path of life without realizing the existences and without focusing on the consequences. That’s precious, that’s incredible as this leads to a path of belief. But, sometimes we need a ray of light to guide us to the path of enlightenment. Sometimes a few words of hope can create a beautiful realm of success.

Is there a secret or rather secrets to life that can make us stronger, more resilient and happier?

Yes, there are a lot of secrets and Buddha realized them thousands of years ago. Let’s look upon a few of those enlightening thoughts and reflections of his insight which can lead us to a prosperous existence. Of course, you can witness a few beams of my understanding and beliefs I inculcate in my life, as his huge believer.

BUDDHA TEACHINGS

“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”

-Buddha

My thoughts – Life is too short to regret what you left behind and too fragile to keep rolling around the less worthy circumstances. Our life is meant to be focused on the tribe who cherishes us the most, the state of mind which impels us to be gentle to others and the power to let go of worthless things.

“Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates –
Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Is it kind?”

Buddha

My thoughts – A person’s identity reflects through his/her utterances. Our words make us influential, our phrases make our existence memorable. I believe words can change a hard soul, subtle. Speak the truth what you believe, convey as much as you can improve and utter to make a soul feel loved.

” Don’t feel bad if people remember you only when they need you. Feel privileged that you are like a candle that comes to their mind when there is the darkness!”

Buddha

My thoughts– Every soul is “One of a kind”.
No one can take a place what you ascertained in someone’s life. No one can deliver you the position you are not made for. You can only keep your soul enlightened enough to spread positivity without predicting much from others. If someone needs you in harsh time, then congratulations ☺️ you are blessed enough to figure things easy.

Drop by drop is the water pot filled. Likewise, the wise man, gathering it little by little, fills himself with good.

Buddha

My thoughts – Developing self is an enduring process. If someone believes he/she will remake self in a day, it’s a myth. To shift your soul from discomfort to stillness you first need to recognize the reasons for the discomfort. Start laboring on it slowly. You will notice an incremental transformation in your behavior soon.

Conquer the angry one by not getting angry; conquer the wicked by goodness; conquer the stingy by generosity, and the liar by speaking the truth.

Buddha

My thoughts– A lot of times we expose a bitter side of self, with a lot of anger and arrogance. But, at the end of the day we find it less worthy than the happiness of our loved ones. The only person who can transform self is the person itself. Bring out the best of yourself by being generous to every soul, start loving yourself to the fullest. Be truthful to self and inspire others to work on a path of authenticity.

Gautam Buddha, who is also recognized as “The Enlightened One” is the most influential and greatest figure who had not only converted self into a radiance of knowledge but also influenced enormous livings on earth to walk on a path of kindness, generosity and truth. He taught us the ways, he chose to leave behind the materialistic contentment of life and accept the path of self-enlightenment.
Here, I just jotted a few thoughts among a vast brine of knowledge which I found momentous in my life and want everyone to adopt, to live a blessed and contented life.

The ocean of wisdom is endless,
you just need a thirsty soul to dive in

  • I don't really agree with "Don’t feel bad if people remember you only when they need you..." because at some point you have to say enough is enough to stop yourself being used repeatedly by the same self-absorbed people

    • I completely agree, we can't let anybody working rude on us for ages, but we can definitely create a positive overview for self to conserve our positivity and let all the ill impressions bounce back. Life is not about how much negativity we can consume it's about how strong our positive crust is. Thank you so much for the review..as always you inspire being a true reviewer.😊

  • I love this post! My favorite quote:

“Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates –
    Is it true?
    Is it necessary?

Talk about wise advice! Imagine if everyone did this. This world would be much more pleasant and healthy.

    Thanks for sharing, Sangeeta!
